Girl Scouts painting Holiday Windows – Chuck Jones Gallery

The Chuck Jones Gallery in old Orange is kind enough to offer their space for Girl Scout events.   Today we were doing an art badge and I had the privilege of teaching girls how to paint Christmas and Hanukkah windows.  Thank you to Byblo’s Cafe and The Hope Chest children’s clothes, that also allowed us to paint on their windows.

The girls were full of talent and inspiration, and we had no falls from ladders or dropped bottles of paint.  I hope I’ve encouraged them to sponge tempura paint on many windows in the future.  Very fun and a good way to make a little spending money.
